Jung Do-Jun (sobriquer: Soheon) turned 70 this year. A full century-and-a-half ago, Kim Jung-hui (sobriquer: Chusa) announced the closure of his calligraphy career with the completion of the signboard of Bongeunsa Temple. 

Kim was 71 years old that year: Jung is beginning fresh at an age when others wound down. Of course relative ti Qi Baishi (齊白石, 1864-1957), who lived to 97, Jung can be considered still in his prime. So wha t does...
